Sitting Can Improve Your Health


Ever wonder how sitting can improve your health?

The Trick:
* Sit on an exercise ball

By sitting on exercise ball you train your muscles what healthy posture feels like. The muscles in your back also adapt to the correct postural positioning. For those of us who like to lay on the couch or a recliner when we watch TV here is an amazing alternative. I even know some businesses that allow their employees to bring in a ball to use at their desk.

WHAT TO DO:

1) Buy the exercise ball.
2) Start off sitting on it for 30 minutes.
3) Every 3 days increase your time by 15 minutes or until tolerated.
4) Have fun and put motion in your spine by moving side to side on the ball.

GOAL: To sit straight up and retrain your back muscles to have proper alignment.
